Suede is a type of leather with a napped finish, commonly used for jackets, vests, footware, shirts, purses, chaps, work aprons, and other items. Suede leather is made from the inner splits of a piece of leather. We offer suede that comes from cow and pig. Generally, cowhide suede is a little thicker (2 to 4 oz., 0.8 to 1.6 mm) while pigskin suede is more lightweight (1 to 1.5 oz, 0.4 to 1.6 mm). Both have the nappy, soft and buttery feel that makes suede garments and accessories is so popular.
