Dyeing, Finishing, Cleaning and Conditioning

Instructor:  Brittany

Ages 12+

Cost:  FREE

There are a lot of liquids to treat your leather with, from alcohol and water based dyes, to stains, soaps, conditioners, waterproofs and finishes.  And believe it or not, not all applicators are the same!  In this class we’ll go over the basics and then do some test leather treating which will help you choose what products will work best for your project and when/how to use them.  We won’t be getting too messy, but it is recommended that you at least wear a shirt you don’t mind getting dirty, just in case.  No tools are necessary, unless you have your favorite pair of latex gloves!  We look forward to seeing you in class.

For this class, because we’ll be working with stainable liquids, space is limited and must be reserved in advance.  Call the store to have your name added to the list and claim your spot.  Our classes have been overfilling quickly, but rest assured we’ll be cycling through these basic classes regularly, so if you don’t make it this time, we will certainly see you again.
